Overview
In January 2024, Converus updated the seat pad included with the Physio Tracker v2 for EyeDetect+ customers. While the updates were minor, we have since identified incompatibilities between the seat pad driver and the EyeDetect software. To resolve this, a new driver must be installed.
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to complete the installation. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Installation Instructions
Step 1: Locate and Save the Driver File
- The driver file (filename: CH341SER.EXE) is attached to the email sent to you.
- Save the driver file to an easily accessible location on the EyeDetect Station.
Step 2: Restart the EyeDetect Station
- Reboot the EyeDetect Station before proceeding with the installation.
Step 3: Install the Driver
- Open Windows Explorer and locate the saved driver file (CH341SER.EXE).
- Double-click the file to begin installation.
- If prompted, allow the application to make changes to the Station.
- In the dialog box that appears, click Install.
- If the installation is successful, a confirmation message will appear.
Step 4: Troubleshooting Installation Failure 
If the driver installation fails, follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall:
Uninstall the Driver
- Locate CH341SER.EXE in Windows Explorer.
- Double-click the file and select Uninstall.
- Wait for the process to complete.
- A confirmation message will indicate successful uninstallation.
Reinstall the Driver
- Close the installer application.
- Double-click CH341SER.EXE again.
- Click Install when prompted.
- Upon successful installation, a confirmation dialog box will appear.
- Close the application.
