Station Won’t Sync

Question: When I try to sync the station at work, nothing happens (it doesn’t sync.)  But when I use another Wi-Fi network, the station syncs without any problems.


Answer: For security purposes, some IT departments may have a firewall setting (also called outbound rules) to block web traffic through port 8080. If that rule is in place, the EyeDetect cloud server may not be accessible from the network.  


To resolve, the IT dept. should allow to access port 8080, you should not have problems syncing in the future.
